We offer this website, including all information, tools and services available on it (the "Service"), to you on the condition that you accept these Terms of Service ("Terms") together with the policies referenced here, including our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund Policy.
By visiting our site or buying from us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These Terms apply to all users, including browsers, retail customers, wholesale customers and anyone who submits content.
New features or tools added to the store are also covered by these Terms. We may update these Terms at any time by posting the changes on this page; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform we use to sell our products.
1. Online Store Terms
- You must be at least the age of majority in your state of residence to place an order, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
- You may not use our products or the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, or violate any law in your jurisdiction.
- You may not transmit viruses, malware or any code of a destructive nature.
- Breaking any of these Terms may result in immediate termination of your access to the Service.
2. General Conditions
We may refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason at any time. Your content (not including payment card information, which is always encrypted) may be transferred over various networks. You may not copy, resell or exploit any part of the Service without our written permission.
3. Our Products – Halal Foods
- Halal certification. We sell halal products sourced from established halal producers and distributors. Certification is issued by the manufacturer's certifying body, as shown on each product's packaging. We do not alter, repackage or re-certify sealed products.
- Product information. Product descriptions, ingredients, weights, serving guides and photos are provided for convenience and are based on information from our suppliers. Manufacturers may change recipes or packaging without notice. Always read the label on the product you receive before eating it.
- Allergens. Many of our products contain or may contain milk, wheat/gluten, eggs, sesame, tree nuts, peanuts, soy or other allergens, and may be produced in facilities that handle them. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, check the packaging before eating and contact the manufacturer with any questions.
- Images. We try to display product images and colors accurately, but actual packaging may differ.
- Serving guides and recipes. Cooking and serving suggestions are general guidance only. Follow the package instructions and safe food-handling practices, and cook meat and poultry to the safe internal temperatures recommended by the USDA.
4. Perishable, Refrigerated and Frozen Items
- Many products are perishable and are shipped refrigerated or frozen. Please be available to receive your delivery and put items in the refrigerator or freezer right away.
- Once a perishable order has been delivered to the address you provided, we are not responsible for spoilage caused by delays in bringing it inside, an incorrect address, or delivery to an unattended location.
- If an item arrives damaged, thawed or spoiled, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos so we can make it right under our Refund Policy.
- For food safety reasons, perishable food cannot be returned once it has been delivered.
5. Wholesale Case Orders
- Products marked "Wholesale Case" are sold by the full case as described (for example, 12 x 1 lb). Cases are not split.
- Wholesale prices and availability may change without notice and may be limited by supplier stock.
- Resale customers are responsible for their own licenses, resale certificates and compliance with local food-handling rules. To buy tax-exempt for resale, send us a valid New Jersey Resale Certificate (Form ST-3) or the equivalent for your state before you order.
- We may limit or cancel large orders, or ask for verification before shipping them.
6. Accuracy, Completeness and Timeliness of Information
We are not responsible if information on this site is not accurate, complete or current. The material on this site is for general information only. We may change site content at any time but are not obligated to update it.
7. Prices, Taxes and Changes to the Service
- Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change without notice.
- Sales tax is calculated at checkout as required by law. In New Jersey, most grocery food is exempt from sales tax, while certain items, such as candy (for example, halva) and some delivery charges, are taxable at the state rate.
- We may change or discontinue any product or part of the Service at any time. We are not liable to you or any third party for any change in price, suspension or discontinuance.
8. Orders, Billing and Account Information
We may refuse or cancel any order, and may limit quantities per person, household or order, including orders placed with the same account, payment card or address. If we change or cancel an order, we will try to notify you using the email address or phone number you gave us, and any amount charged for a cancelled item will be refunded.
You agree to give us current, complete and accurate purchase and account information, and to update it promptly so we can complete your order and contact you when needed.
9. Shipping and Delivery
We deliver to the areas and addresses offered at checkout. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Shipping costs, delivery areas and timeframes are described in our Shipping Policy and at checkout.
10. Returns and Refunds
Returns, refunds and replacements are handled under our Refund Policy. Because we sell food, perishable products cannot be returned, but we will replace or refund items that arrive damaged, spoiled or incorrect if you report the problem promptly.
11. Optional Tools and Third-Party Links
We may give you access to third-party tools that we do not monitor or control. They are provided "as is", without warranty, and you use them at your own risk. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content, products or practices.
12. Comments, Reviews and Other Submissions
If you send us reviews, suggestions or other material ("comments"), you agree that we may edit, copy, publish and otherwise use them in any medium without obligation to keep them confidential, pay compensation or respond. You are responsible for your comments and agree that they will not be unlawful, abusive, misleading or infringe anyone's rights. We may remove content we consider objectionable.

Our total liability for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order. Some states do not allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shopping Halal and its owners, employees, agents and suppliers from any third-party claim, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or anyone else's rights.
18. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the fullest extent allowed and the rest of these Terms will remain in effect.
19. Termination
These Terms remain in effect until terminated by you or us. You may end them at any time by no longer using the site. If you fail to comply with these Terms, we may end this agreement and deny you access to the Service. Obligations incurred before termination survive it.
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms and any policies we post on this site are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service and replace any earlier agreements. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it.
